check MySQL with Senna whether proparlly installed or not
run mysql client
# mysql -u root mysql>
check connection.
create database
mysql> create database senna_test;
check database is created.
mysql> show databases; +--------------+ | Database | +--------------+ | mysql | | senna_test | | test | +--------------+ 3 rows in set (0.00 sec)
create table
create table with below sql.
CREATE TABLE table01 ( id INT UNSIGNED AUTO_INCREMENT NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY(id), title VARCHAR(255), body TEXT, FULLTEXT INDEX USING NGRAM (body) );
USING NGRAM means MySQL with Senna behaves samely an original MySQL. If no option exists, MySQL with Senna behaves suitably for Japanese (uses Mecab, Japanese tokenizer and support suffix search for Japanese words).
If you specify USING NO SENNA option, MySQL uses original fulltext index.
check INSERT
execute insert query.
mysql > INSERT INTO table01 VALUES (NULL, "test document", "This is a test document."), (NULL, "test document", "Test is most important.");
check search
execute select query.
use senna_test; SELECT * FROM table01 WHERE MATCH(body) AGAINST('this'); SELECT * FROM table01 WHERE MATCH(body) AGAINST('test'); SELECT * FROM table01 WHERE MATCH(body) AGAINST('document'); SELECT * FROM table01 WHERE MATCH(body) AGAINST('nothing');
check properlly searched.
